Driving Licence Submission

From the 8th June 2015 onwards the way in which we check driving licence details for our policyholders will change. If during the quotation stage or when a claim is made we need to validate the policyholder's licence details, we will ask the customer to provide us with a code (by telephone) generated by the DVLA website (valid for 72 hours) to allow us access to their licence summary held on the DVLA website.

To view your driving record you are required to provide your:

  • Driving Licence number
  • National Insurance number
  • Postcode

When you can veiw your licence, selecting ‘Share your licence information’ will allow you to control who can see the data DVLA holds.

You will be prompted to create a licence check code. Once the code has been created, it remains valid for a period of 72 hours.

After you have supplied us with your unique code and the last 8 digits of your driving licence number, we will be able to make checks against your driving record and your licence details

By clicking the below link (DVLA Picture), you will be directed to the page that allows you to view and share your licence.
